Speed limiter
System preventing the vehicle speed from exceeding the value set by the driver.
Speed limit reached: the accelerator pedal no longer has any effect.
Speed limiter activation is manual; it requires a set speed of at least 30 km/h.
The speed limiter can in no way replace compliance with speed limits, nor driver vigilance and responsibility.
Steering wheel controls

Steering wheel controls
The speed limiter controls are located on the left side of the steering wheel.
Instrument cluster displays

Instrument panel displays
Speed limiter information is shown in zone A of the instrument panel.
Successive presses change the set speed in steps of 1 km/h, and holding the button changes it in steps of 5 km/h.
Programming
- Press control 4 to select speed limiter mode “LIMIT”.
Selection is confirmed by the function appearing in zone A of the instrument panel.

When the function is selected, the last stored speed is shown in zone A.
The “PAUSE” message is also displayed.
With the engine running, you can adjust the stored maximum speed, shown in zone A, by pressing:
- Button 1 to increase the stored maximum speed.
- Button 2 to decrease the stored maximum speed.
Activation
- Press button 3 when the desired maximum speed is displayed.
The “ON” message then appears in zone A.

Suspend / Resume
- Press button 3.
This action displays the “PAUSE” message in zone A of the instrument panel.

This action does not cancel the stored maximum speed, which remains displayed in zone A of the instrument panel.

Exceeding the set speed
The accelerator pedal has a mechanical resistance point (detent) at the end of its travel. Press the pedal fully to exceed the stored maximum speed at any time. While the speed is exceeded, the speed shown in zone A flashes. Release the accelerator pedal to return below the maximum speed and reactivate the function.
The speed also flashes when the limiter cannot prevent the vehicle from exceeding the set speed (on a steep downhill or during hard acceleration).
To reactivate the limiter, release the accelerator until the speed drops below the set speed.
Returning to normal driving
- By pressing control 5.
- By selecting the speed limiter function.
- By switching off the engine.
Malfunction
In the event of a malfunction, a message is displayed with an audible signal and the SERVICE warning light comes on.
Have it checked by the CITROËN network.
On a steep downhill or during hard acceleration, the speed limiter, which does not act on the brakes, cannot prevent the vehicle from exceeding the set speed. Using floor mats not approved by CITROËN may restrict normal use of the accelerator pedal and interfere with the speed limiter operation. Floor mats approved by CITROËN have a third fixing point in the pedal area to prevent any risk of interference with the pedals.Test yourself
