PARKSENSE REAR PARK ASSIST — IF EQUIPPED

~1min read

The ParkSense Rear Park Assist system provides visual and audible indication of the distance between the rear fascia/bumper and a detected obstacle when backing up (for example, during a parking maneuver).

ParkSense will retain the system state (on or off) from the previous ignition cycle when the ignition is switched to the ON/RUN position.

ParkSense can only be active when the transmission selector is in the REVERSE position. If ParkSense is enabled in this selector position, the system will remain active until the vehicle speed increases to approximately 11 km/h or higher. The system will become active again if the vehicle speed decreases to below approximately 6 mph (9 km/h).
