The system may not operate correctly when any of the following events occur:

  • The sensors are blocked.
  • Parked vehicles or objects next to your vehicle are blocking the sensors.
  • Vehicles are approaching at speeds less than 4 mph (6 km/h) or greater than 37 mph (60 km/h).
  • Vehicle speed exceeds 7 mph (12 km/h).
  • You are backing out of an angled parking space.
