Do not use handheld devices while driving. Always use hands-free devices when possible. Check local laws and regulations that may restrict the use of electronic devices while driving.

When using SYNC:

  • Do not operate playback devices if the power cables are broken, frayed or damaged. Route the cables so that they cannot be stepped on and do not interfere with the operation of the pedals, seats and compartments, or compromise driving safety.
  • Do not leave playback devices in the vehicle in extreme conditions as this may damage them. For more information, refer to the device manual.
  • Do not attempt to repair the system in any way. Contact an authorized dealer.
