DANGER

Check that the arrows on directional tyres point in the direction of wheel rotation when moving forward. If a spare wheel must be fitted with the arrows pointing in the opposite direction, have the wheel refitted as soon as possible.

Only use wheels and tyres of an approved size. Using other sizes may damage the vehicle and invalidate national type approval.

Make sure there is no oil or grease on the threads or on the surface between the studs and the wheel nuts. This could cause the nuts to loosen while driving.

Do not fit run-flat tyres to vehicles not originally equipped with them. For further details on compatibility, contact an Authorised Dealer.

DANGER

Do not fit alloy wheels using the nuts intended for steel wheels.

Only use wheel nuts and wheels specific to your vehicle. If in doubt, contact an Authorised Dealer.

Note: Alloy wheel nuts and steel spoked wheel nuts may also be used on the steel temporary spare wheel for a short period (maximum two weeks).

Note: Make sure the contact surfaces between wheel and hub are free from foreign matter.

Note: Make sure the wheel nut cones are seated against the wheel.

  1. Fit the wheel and the wheel trim.
  2. Fit the wheel nuts and tighten them by hand.
