GMC Terrain. Off-Road Recovery

The right wheels of the vehicle may drop off the edge of the road onto the shoulder while driving. Follow these tips:

  1. Release the accelerator pedal and, if nothing is in the way, steer the vehicle so that it gradually moves onto the edge of the road.
  2. Turn the steering wheel approximately one-eighth of a turn while the right front tire is touching the edge of the road.
  3. Turn the steering wheel to return to the traveled portion of the road.
