Fresh Air Mode and Recirculation Mode Switches
These switches are used to select the air source supplied to the air conditioner. In fresh air mode,
outside air is supplied to the air conditioner. In recirculation mode,
air from the passenger compartment is supplied to the air conditioner.
Outside air enters the ventilation and air conditioning system through the air intake grille located at the base of the windshield. Periodically clear leaves and debris from the openings of the air intake grille.
In most cases, it is preferable to have outside air enter the passenger compartment.
Prolonged use of recirculation mode, especially with the air conditioner off, causes moisture to condense on the windows.
Therefore, it is recommended to use recirculation mode to prevent smoke or dust from entering the passenger compartment. As soon as this is no longer necessary, turn off the recirculation mode.
