PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and the connector from the radiator cooling fan motor.
2. Set the cabin temperature control to maximum heat.
3. Remove the drain plug from the radiator and drain the coolant into a suitable container.
4. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the upper and lower hoses from the radiator.
5. On vehicles with automatic transmission, disconnect the hoses from the transmission oil cooler.

To prevent transmission fluid from leaking out and dirt from entering the system, plug the ends of the oil cooler hoses with suitable caps.

6. Remove the radiator mounting bolts.
7. Remove the radiator together with the radiator cooling fan.
8. Remove the cooling fan motor from the radiator.
