Front Wheel Alignment, Toe-In
FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
When checking the front wheel alignment with a wheel alignment tester, always position the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface so that the front wheels are in the straight-ahead position. Before checking, make sure that the front suspension, steering system and wheels are in good working condition. Also check that the wheels are in the straight-ahead position and that the tire pressure is within specification.
FRONT WHEEL TOE-IN

Wheel toe-in (dimension B - A or sum of angles a + b) is adjusted by turning the steering tie rod ends.
To change the toe-in, turn the right and left steering tie rod ends by equal angles in opposite directions. The toe-in will decrease when the left tie rod end is turned toward the rear of the vehicle (and the right tie rod end toward the front of the vehicle).

• Adjust the toe-in by turning the left and right steering tie rod ends by equal angles.
• When adjusting the toe-in, loosen the steering tie rod boot clamps to prevent the boots from twisting.
• After adjustment, securely tighten the steering tie rod end lock nuts and securely install the boot clamps.
• Adjust the toe-in so that the result is within the range of ± 1 mm.
