Tires

WARNING

Do not use a tire and wheel that differ in size and type from the one originally installed on your vehicle. This may affect the safety and performance of your vehicle, which may lead to steering failure or rollover, causing serious injury.

When replacing tires, always equip all four wheels and tires of the same size, type, tread pattern, brand, and load rating.

In an emergency, the compact spare tire may be used. However, do not use the compact spare tire continuously. Repair or replace the original tire as soon as possible to avoid damage to the differential or the all-wheel drive system.

WARNING

Never start or run the engine while the all-wheel drive vehicle is raised on a jack. The vehicle may slip or fall off the jack, causing serious injury or death to you or to others nearby.

Tow/Haul

All-wheel drive vehicles should be towed with a wheel lift and dolly or a flatbed with all wheels off the ground.

Vehicle Inspection

  • When the vehicle is on a vehicle lift, do not work on the front and rear wheels separately. All four wheels should be serviced.
  • Never apply the parking brake when lifting the vehicle with the engine running. This may cause damage to the all-wheel drive system.
