Filter Inspection

The filter must be inspected according to the maintenance schedule. If the vehicle is used for extended periods in heavily polluted cities or on dusty, rough roads, the filter must be cleaned more often than normal and replaced more frequently. When inspecting the cabin air filter, follow this procedure and take care not to damage other components.

1. With the glove box open, press both sides of the glove box as shown. This will ensure the glove box stoppers release, allowing the glove box to open fully.

2. Detach the air conditioning control air filter cover.

3. Pull out the air filter.

4. Check and clean the air conditioner filter with water.

5. Reinstall in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE

After inspecting or cleaning the filter, install it correctly. Otherwise, the system may be noisy and less efficient.
