Bulbs

~1min read
WARNING - Working on bulbs Before working on the bulbs, firmly apply the parking brake, make sure the ignition switch is in LOCK, and turn off the lights to prevent sudden vehicle movement, burns to your fingers, or electric shock.

Use only bulbs of the specified wattage.

NOTICE Make sure to replace a burned-out bulb with one of the same wattage. Otherwise, the fuse or electrical wiring may be damaged. NOTICE If you do not have the necessary tools, the correct bulbs, and experience, it is recommended that you consult an authorized HYUNDAI dealer. In many cases, bulbs are difficult to replace because other parts of the vehicle must be removed to reach the bulb. This is especially true when the headlight assembly must be removed to reach the bulbs. Removing and installing the headlight assembly may damage the vehicle.

NOTE

After heavy rain or after washing, the headlight and taillight lenses may fog up. This condition is caused by the temperature difference between the outside and inside of the light unit. This phenomenon is similar to condensation on the inside of windows during rain and does not indicate a vehicle problem. If water enters the bulb electrical circuit, it is recommended that the system be checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
