Parking Brake Inspection

Check the parking brake travel by counting the number of audible clicks until fully applied from the initial position. Also, the parking brake alone must be able to hold the vehicle securely on a sufficiently steep grade. If the travel is less or more than specified, it is recommended that the system be serviced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

Travel: 6 ~ 8 clicks at a force of 20 kg (44 lbs, 196 N).
