Brake/clutch fluid

Checking the brake and clutch fluid level
Check the fluid level periodically. The fluid level must be between the "MAX" and "MIN" marks on the side of the reservoir.
Before removing the cap and adding fluid, carefully clean the area around it to prevent fluid contamination.
If the level is low, add fluid up to the MAX level. The level drops as mileage increases. This is normal and is associated with brake pad wear. If the level is too low, have the system checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Use only the specified brake/clutch fluid (refer to "Recommended lubricants and capacities" in section 8).
Never mix different types of fluid.
WARNING - Brake fluid leaks. If the brake system requires frequent topping up of fluid, the system should be inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.NOTE
Before removing the brake/clutch fluid filler cap, read the warnings on the cap.
WARNING: CLEAN THE FILLER CAP BEFORE REMOVING IT. USE ONLY DOT3 OR DOT4 BRAKE FLUID FROM A SEALED CONTAINER. WARNING - Brake/clutch fluid: When replacing and adding brake/clutch fluid, handle it with care. Do not allow it to contact the eyes. In case of contact, flush the eyes thoroughly with cold water. Have the eyes examined by a doctor as soon as possible. NOTICE: Do not let the fluid come into contact with the vehicle's paint, as it may be damaged. Fluid exposed to open air for extended periods must not be used, as its quality cannot be guaranteed. It must be disposed of properly. Do not fill with the wrong type of fluid. A few drops of mineral-based oil, such as engine oil, in the brake/clutch system can damage brake components.Test yourself
