Turn indicators
When towing a trailer, the vehicle requires a different turn signal and additional wiring. The green turn signal arrows in the instrument cluster flash whenever a turn or lane change is signaled. When properly connected, the trailer lights also flash to warn other drivers that you are about to turn, change lanes or stop.
When towing a trailer, the green arrows on the instrument cluster flash even if the trailer bulbs have burned out. As a result, drivers may assume that following drivers can see the signals, when in fact they cannot. It is important to check the bulbs periodically to make sure they are working. Also check the lights each time the trailer cables are disconnected and reconnected.
WARNING Do not connect the trailer lighting system directly to the vehicle's lighting system. Use appropriate trailer wiring harnesses. Failure to use appropriate harnesses can cause damage to the vehicle's electrical system and/or personal injury. Consult an authorized HYUNDAI dealer for assistance.Test yourself
