The system may not operate when:

A malfunction occurs in the sensors or the ISG system.

The following will happen:

- The yellow AUTO STOP () indicator on the instrument cluster will remain on after flashing for 5 seconds.

- The indicator on the ISG OFF button will illuminate.

NOTE

- If the ISG OFF button indicator does not turn off after pressing the ISG OFF button again, or if the ISG system does not operate correctly, it is recommended that you contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

- If the ISG OFF indicator illuminates, it can be turned off after driving the vehicle at approximately 80 km/h for up to two hours and setting the blower speed control below the 2nd position. If the ISG OFF indicator remains illuminated despite this procedure, it is recommended that you contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

WARNING When the engine is in idle stop mode, the engine may restart without any action by the driver. Before leaving the vehicle or performing any work in the engine compartment, stop the engine by turning the ignition switch to the LOCK / OFF position or by removing the ignition key.
