The driver can switch to the conventional cruise control mode (speed control function only) by performing the following steps:

1. Press the CRUISE button on the steering wheel to turn on the system. The Cruise (Hyundai Ioniq. To Convert to Cruise Control Mode) indicator will illuminate.

2. Press and hold the vehicle distance button for more than 2 seconds.

3. Select between "SCC (Smart Cruise Control) Mode" and "CC (Cruise Control) Mode".

When the system is turned off with the CRUISE button, or the CRUISE button is used after the vehicle enters the ready (Hyundai Ioniq. To Convert to Cruise Control Mode) mode, Smart Cruise Control mode will be activated.

WARNING

When using conventional cruise control, you must manually adjust the distance to other vehicles by pressing the accelerator or brake pedal. The system does not automatically adjust the distance to the vehicle ahead.
