Automatic Reverse
.jpg)
If the sunroof glass detects an obstacle while closing automatically, it will reverse direction and then stop at a specific position.
The auto reverse function may not operate if a thin or soft object is caught between the sunroof glass and the sunroof frame.
WARNING
Make sure that heads, hands, arms, or any other body parts or objects are clear of the sunroof before operating it. Body parts or objects may be caught, resulting in injury or vehicle damage.
Never intentionally use your body parts to test the auto reverse function. The sunroof glass may reverse direction, but there is a risk of injury.
NOTICE
- Do not continue pressing the sunroof switch after the sunroof is fully open, closed, or tilted. Damage to the sunroof motor may occur.
- Continuous operations, such as slide open/close, tilt open/close, etc., may cause the sunroof motor or system to malfunction.
- Regularly remove accumulated dust from the sunroof rail.
- Dust accumulated between the sunroof and roof panel may cause noise. Open the sunroof and regularly wipe off dust with a clean cloth.
- Do not attempt to open the sunroof when the temperature is below freezing or when the sunroof is covered with snow or ice. The sunroof may not operate properly and may be damaged if forced open.
- Do not open or operate the sunroof glass immediately after rain or car washing. Water may soak the vehicle interior.
- Do not extend luggage outside the sunroof while driving. Vehicle damage may occur if the vehicle stops suddenly.
WARNING
Do not extend your head, hands, body parts, or objects outside the sunroof while driving. Injury may occur if the vehicle stops suddenly.
