Turn Signals
When towing a trailer, it must have turn signals and the proper wiring. The green arrows flash on the instrument panel when you signal a turn or lane change. If they are connected correctly, the trailer lights also flash to inform other drivers that you are about to turn, change lanes, or stop.
When towing a trailer, the green turn signal arrows on the instrument panel flash even if the trailer bulbs have burned out. As a result, you may think drivers behind you can see that you are turning when they cannot. Therefore, it is important to check the trailer lights regularly. Also check the indicators each time the trailer connectors are disconnected and reconnected.
WARNING
Do not connect the trailer light system directly to the lighting system of your vehicle. Use certified trailer wiring harnesses.
Using non-certified wiring may cause damage to the electrical system of the vehicle and/or result in personal injury. Contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer for additional information.
