1. Shift the shift lever to P (automatic transmission) or to a gear (manual transmission), depress and hold the brake pedal, then do the following:

  • Start the engine.
  • Shift into gear.
  • Release the parking brake.

2. Slowly release the brake pedal.

3. Slowly move forward until the trailer is clear of the wheel chocks.

4. Stop and ask someone to lift and remove the wheel chocks.
