Floor Mat Anchor(s)

ALWAYS use the floor mat anchors to secure the front floor mats to the vehicle. Anchors on the front floor are provided to keep the floor mats from sliding forward.

WARNING

Do not place additional mats or liners over the floor mats. When using all-weather floor mats, remove the carpeted floor mats before installing them. Use only floor mats designed to attach to the anchors.

WARNING

Observe the following when installing ANY floor mat in the vehicle.

• Be sure to remove the protective film on the carpet before attaching the floor mat to the front floor carpet. Otherwise, the floor mat may move freely over the protective film and may cause unintended braking or acceleration.
• Make sure the floor mats are securely attached to the vehicle body by the floor mat anchor(s) before driving the vehicle.
• Do NOT use any floor mats that cannot be firmly attached to the vehicle body with the floor mat anchors.
• Do not stack floor mats on top of one another (for example, an all-weather rubber mat over the carpeted floor mat). There should be only one floor mat installed in each position.

IMPORTANT - Your vehicle was manufactured with driver-side floor mat anchors designed to securely hold the floor mat in place. To avoid any interference with pedal operation, HYUNDAI recommends that a HYUNDAI floor mat designed for use in your vehicle be installed.
