Parking brake automatically applied

If EPB is activated while Auto Hold is active, an alarm sounds and a message is displayed.

AUTO HOLD will be deactivated. Depress the brake pedal (AUTO HOLD deactivates. Depress the brake pedal)

If the transition from Auto Hold to EPB does not operate properly, a warning chime sounds and a message is displayed.

NOTICE

When this message is displayed, Auto Hold and EPB may not operate. For safety, depress the brake pedal.

Depress the brake pedal to deactivate AUTO HOLD

If you do not depress the brake pedal when deactivating Auto Hold (using the [AUTO HOLD] button), an alarm sounds and a message is displayed.

AUTO HOLD conditions not met. Close the door, tailgate and hood and fasten the seat belt

When you press the [AUTO HOLD] button, if the driver's door, hood or tailgate is not closed or your seat belt is not fastened, an alarm sounds and a message appears on the LCD screen. At this time, press the [AUTO HOLD] button after closing the driver's door, hood or tailgate and fastening the seat belt.
