This warning light comes on for approximately 6 seconds each time the ignition switch is turned to the ON position.

This light also comes on when the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) is not operating properly. If the AIR BAG warning light does not come on, or remains on after approximately 6 seconds of operation when the ignition switch is turned ON or the engine is started, or if it comes on while driving, have the SRS system checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
