If the driver removes the key from the ignition switch (Smart Key: turns off the engine) and opens the driver's door when the sunroof is not fully closed, a warning chime will sound for about 7 seconds and the sunroof open warning light will come on or flash for about 7 seconds.

Always close the sunroof securely when leaving the vehicle.
