Engine Oil Pressure Warning Light

This warning light indicates low engine oil pressure.
If the warning light comes on while driving:
1. Drive safely to the side of the road, park, and turn off the engine.
2. Let the vehicle stand for five minutes, then check the engine oil level. If the level is low, add oil as required.
If the warning light stays on after adding oil, or if there is no oil, contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
CAUTION
If the engine is not stopped immediately after the low engine oil pressure warning light comes on, serious engine damage may result.
CAUTION
If the oil pressure warning light stays on while the engine is running, engine damage may result. The oil pressure warning light comes on whenever oil pressure is insufficient. Under normal operation, it should come on when the ignition is turned on and then go off when the engine starts.
