Smart Cruise Control is automatically canceled temporarily when:
- Your vehicle speed exceeds 120 mph (190 km/h).
- Your vehicle has been stopped for a certain period of time.
- Your accelerator pedal has been continuously depressed for a certain period of time.
- Smart Cruise Control operating conditions are not met.
If Smart Cruise Control is automatically canceled temporarily, the "Smart Cruise Control Canceled" warning message may appear on the instrument cluster and a warning sound will alert you.
WARNING
Always maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead and adjust your vehicle speed to the road conditions. When Smart Cruise Control is temporarily canceled, it does not control speed or distance to the vehicle ahead.
