If you press the accelerator pedal above a certain speed while Smart Cruise Control is operating, your vehicle may accelerate temporarily without changing the set speed. The set speed, distance level, and target distance flash on the instrument cluster when the accelerator pedal is pressed. Your vehicle speed may decrease if the accelerator pedal is not pressed sufficiently.

WARNING

Be careful when accelerating temporarily, as Smart Cruise Control does not control speed or distance even if there is a vehicle ahead of you.

Always maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead and adjust your vehicle speed according to road conditions.
