Activate When Washer Fluid Is Used

To prevent odors from entering the vehicle interior, the ventilation system switches to recirculation mode while washer fluid is sprayed on the windshield. However, when outside air temperature is low, the system continues to supply outside air to prevent the windshield from fogging.

System Settings

1. Press the ENGINE START/STOP button.

2. Select the floor level () airflow direction by pressing the mode select button.

3. While pressing the A/C button, press the air recirculation button more than 4 times within 2 seconds.

4. If the system is set, the indicator on the air recirculation button will flash 6 times.

System cancellation

1. Press the ENGINE START/STOP button.

2. Select the floor level () airflow direction by pressing the mode select button.

3. While pressing the A/C button, press the air recirculation button more than 4 times within 2 seconds.

4. If the system is canceled, the indicator on the air recirculation button will flash 3 times.

Activation with washer fluid is set when you select "Settings → Vehicle → Climate → Air Recirculation → Activate When Washer Fluid Is Used" in the infotainment system screen settings menu.
