The climate control air filter is installed behind the glove box. It filters dust and other contaminants entering the vehicle from outside through the heating and air conditioning system. If dust or other contaminants accumulate in the filter over time, airflow from the vents may decrease, causing moisture to build up on the inside of the windshield even when the outside (fresh) air position is selected. If this occurs, have the climate control air filter replaced by an authorized Kia dealer.
✽ NOTICE
- Replace the filter every 15,000 miles or once a year. If the vehicle is operated in severe conditions such as dusty or rough roads, more frequent inspection and replacement of the air conditioner filter is required.
- If the airflow suddenly decreases, the system should be inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
