When operating the heater or air conditioner for ventilation, if the recirculation mode is maintained for 30 minutes or more at low temperature, it automatically changes to the fresh air mode.

Automatic Air Ventilation Control Procedure

To set or cancel the automatic air ventilation function, select the mode select button on the heater or air conditioner control panel, then press and hold the air intake control button for 5 seconds or press it 5 times within 3 seconds while pressing the A/C button. When the automatic air ventilation function is released, the recirculation mode indicator will flash 3 times at 0.5 second intervals, and the air direction, air volume, recirculation/fresh air mode and air conditioner will be controlled automatically.

When the automatic air ventilation function is set, the recirculation mode indicator will flash 6 times at 0.25 second intervals, and the air direction, air volume, recirculation/fresh air mode and air conditioner will be controlled automatically.

Automatic dehumidification is turned on when you select "Settings → Vehicle → Climate → Automatic Air Ventilation → Automatic Dehumidification" in the infotainment system screen settings menu.
