To turn off the heated steering wheel, press the button again. The indicator on the button will turn off.
WARNING
If the steering wheel becomes too hot, turn the system off. A heated steering wheel may cause burns even at low temperatures, especially if used for long periods.
✽ NOTICE
The heated steering wheel will turn off automatically approximately 30 minutes after it was switched on.
CAUTION
- Do not install any type of grip cover on the steering wheel, as it may interfere with the heated steering wheel function.
- When cleaning the heated steering wheel, do not use organic solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline. These may damage the steering wheel surface.
- If the steering wheel surface is damaged by a sharp object, damage to the heated steering wheel components may occur.
Automatic Climate Control (Driver's Seat)
The heated steering wheel automatically controls the steering wheel temperature according to the ambient temperature while the engine is running. If the steering wheel heater switch is pressed, the heated steering wheel must be controlled manually.
Automatic Climate Control is activated or deactivated by selecting "Settings → Vehicle → Seat → Heated/Ventilated Seat Functions → Auto Climate Control → Steering Wheel Warmer" from the Settings menu on the infotainment system screen.
