Use the switch or pedal to accelerate

  • In stop-and-go traffic, your vehicle will stop if the vehicle ahead stops. In addition, if the vehicle ahead starts moving, your vehicle will also start moving. However, if your vehicle has stopped, press the accelerator pedal or move the RES+ switch up to start moving.
  • If you operate the Smart Cruise Control switch (RES+ or SET-) while Auto Hold is active and Smart Cruise Control is operating, Auto Hold will be released regardless of the accelerator pedal, and the vehicle will start moving. The AUTO HOLD indicator changes color from green to white.
