Lighting Control

~1min read

The light switch has the headlamp and parking lamp positions.

To turn on the lights, turn the knob at the end of the control lever to one of the following positions:

(1) OFF position
(2) AUTO light position
(3) Parking and tail lamp position
(4) Headlamp position

When the light switch is in the parking lamp position, the tail lamps, license plate lamps and instrument panel illumination will come on.

When the light switch is in the headlamp position, the headlamps, tail lamps and license plate lamps will come on.

✽ NOTICE

The Engine Start/Stop button must be in the ON position to turn on the headlamps.

AUTO Light Position

When the light switch is in the AUTO light position, the tail lamps and headlamps turn on or off automatically depending on the amount of light outside the vehicle.

CAUTION

  • Never place anything on the sensor (1) located on the instrument panel. This ensures better automatic headlamp control.
  • Do not clean the sensor with window cleaner. The cleaner may leave a light film that can interfere with sensor operation.
