~1min read

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning

The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning system uses the rear corner radar sensors to monitor approaching traffic from the left and right sides of the vehicle when your vehicle is in reverse.

The warning distance varies depending on the speed of the approaching vehicle.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist monitors approaching traffic from the left and right sides of the vehicle when your vehicle is moving in reverse.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist may activate the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system depending on the possibility of a collision with an approaching vehicle. This is to reduce the risk of collision or mitigate collision damage.
