Removal

  1. Remove the tire.
  2. Remove foreign material from the wheel.
  3. Release the air through the tire valve (A).
  4. Install the bead breaker on the tire, then remove the tire bead from the rim by pressing the pedal.
  5. Operate the bead breaker at various points until the tire is completely separated from the rim.
  6. Place the wheel on the turntable, then secure it with the step clamp by pressing the pedal.
  7. Install the rim clamp and then secure it.
When mounting, install the head with the left part mounted first.
Install on the right side of the TPMS sensor mounting head when the turntable rotates counterclockwise.
  8. Install the lever, then position the upper tire between them.
  9. While pressing the turntable pedal, rotate the turntable clockwise, then separate the outer part of the tire from the wheel.
  10. Remove the tire from the wheel inside the tire in the same way as No. 10.
  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Installation

Sensor Installation
  • Handle the sensor carefully.
  • Avoid contact with lubricant whenever possible.
  1. Connect the valve to the sensor and turn the valve 3 times so that the square part of the screw is in the slot.
    • The fit must not be tight, i.e., it must be possible to easily adjust the valve angle.
    • Make sure the wheel being installed is designed for sensor installation. There is normally a mark indicating this.
    • Make sure the valve hole and the mating surface of the wheel are clean.
  2. Install the assembly on the wheel.
Make sure the sensor legs remain in contact with the wheel throughout the remaining assembly process.
  3. Tighten the washer and nut by hand until the valve thread meets the built-in calibrated nut stop.
Make sure the bushing remains in contact with the wheel.
  4. Using a torque wrench, tighten the nut to 5.9 ± 0.74 lb-ft (8.0 ± 1 N·m). A breaking feeling is normal, as the 1.7 lb-ft (2.3 N·m) calibrated stop in the nut clicks and the torque drops.
  • Increase the torque smoothly to achieve a clean break of the stop.
  • Do not exceed the specified torque.
  • Do not use electric or pneumatic tools.
