WARNING

• Do not strike or allow any objects to contact the areas where the airbags or sensors are installed. This may cause the airbag to deploy unexpectedly, which may result in serious injury or death.
• If the installation location or installation angle of the sensors is changed in any way, the airbags may deploy when they should not, or may not deploy when they should, which may result in serious injury or death. Therefore, do not attempt to service the airbag sensors or perform any work around them. We recommend that the system be serviced by an authorized Kia dealer.
• Problems may occur if the sensor installation angles change due to deformation of the front bumper, body, or center and rear pillars where the side impact sensors are installed. We recommend that the system be serviced by an authorized Kia dealer.
• Your vehicle is designed to absorb impact and deploy the airbags in certain collisions. Installing bumper accessories or replacing the bumper with non-genuine parts may adversely affect the collision performance of your vehicle and the airbag deployment performance.
