✽ NOTICE
Improper maintenance by the owner during the warranty period may affect warranty coverage. For details, refer to the separate Warranty & Maintenance Booklet supplied with your vehicle. If you are unsure of any maintenance or service procedure, we recommend having the system checked by an authorized Kia dealer.
WARNING - Maintenance Work
- Performing maintenance work on your vehicle can be dangerous. You may be seriously injured when performing some maintenance procedures. If you do not have sufficient knowledge and experience or the proper tools and equipment to perform the work, we recommend that the system be serviced by an authorized Kia dealer.
- Working in the engine compartment with the engine running is dangerous. It becomes even more dangerous when you wear jewelry or loose clothing. They may become caught in moving parts and cause injury.
Therefore, if you need to run the engine while working in the engine compartment, be sure to remove all jewelry (especially rings, bracelets, watches and necklaces) and any ties, scarves and similar loose clothing before approaching the engine or cooling fans.
