The cruise control system allows you to program the vehicle to maintain a constant speed without pressing the accelerator pedal.

This system is designed to operate above approximately 30 km/h.

If the cruise control system remains on (CRUISE indicator illuminated on the instrument panel), cruise control may be engaged accidentally. Keep the cruise control system off (CRUISE indicator OFF) when cruise control is not in use to avoid accidentally setting a speed.

Use the cruise control system only when driving on open roads in good weather.

Do not use cruise control when driving in heavy or changing traffic, on slippery roads (rain, ice or snow), on winding roads, or on roads with a grade of more than 6% uphill or downhill.

✽ NOTICE

  • During normal cruise control operation, when the SET switch is activated or reactivated after applying the brakes, cruise control will activate after approximately 3 seconds. This delay is normal.
  • To activate cruise control, press the brake pedal at least once after turning the ignition key to the ON position or starting the engine.

WARNING! Improper Use of Cruise Control

Do not use Cruise Control when road conditions do not allow you to drive safely at a constant speed and with sufficient distance to the vehicle ahead.
