Description and Operation

Description

  1. The ESC OFF switch is used by the driver to turn off the ESC system.

  2. The ESC OFF indicator illuminates when the ESC OFF switch is activated.

Repair Procedures

Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the airbag lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "Under Cover Panel")

  3. Remove the side cover switch panel (A) after loosening the screws.

  4. Disconnect the side cover switch connector (A).

  5. Remove the side airbag switch assembly (A) from the switch panel.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
