Repair Procedures
Removal and Installation
Remove the front wheel and tire (A).
Tightening torque: 107.9–128 N·m

Disconnect the brake hose bracket (A).
Tightening torque: 8.8 - 13.7 N·m

Disconnect the wheel speed sensor bracket (A).
Tightening torque: 8.8 - 13.7 N·m

Loosen the nut and disconnect the stabilizer bar link (A).
Tightening torque: 98.1–118 N·m

Loosen the front strut upper mounting nuts (A).
Tightening torque: 53.9–74 N·m N·m

Loosen the bolts and nuts, then remove the front strut assembly (A).
Tightening torque: 156.9–176 N·m

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Disassembly and Assembly
Using a strut spring compressor, compress the coil spring (A).

Using SST (09546-3X100), loosen the self-locking nut.
Tightening torque: 98.1–108 N·m

Remove the strut mount insulator, upper spring seat, bump stopper, dust cover, coil spring, and lower spring seat from the strut assembly.

Assembly is the reverse of disassembly.
Inspection
Inspect the strut bearing for wear and damage.
Inspect the upper and lower spring insulators for damage and wear.
