Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the liftgate garnish.

    (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Trim")

  2. Remove the rear wiper motor.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Wiper Motor")

  3. Disconnect the rear view camera connector (A).

  4. Loosen the liftgate rear panel mounting nuts.

  5. Using a screwdriver or trim remover, remove the liftgate rear panel (A).

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
