  1. Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least three minutes before starting work.
  3. Install the SRSCM using the SRSCM mounting bolts.

    Tightening torque: 8.0 ~ 12 N·m

  4. Connect the SRSCM wiring harness connector.
  5. Install the rear ventilation duct and floor console. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console")
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
  7. After installing the SRSCM, check that the system operates correctly:
    A. Turn the ignition ON; the SRS indicator should illuminate for about six seconds and then go off.
