Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least three minutes before starting work.
  2. Remove the front passenger seat assembly. (Refer to Body - Seat group)
  3. Remove the seat cushion assembly. (Refer to Body - Seat group)

Installation

  1. Install the seat cushion assembly with the ODS. (Refer to Body group - Seat)
  2. Install the front passenger seat assembly. (Refer to Body - Seat group)
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
  4. After installing the ODS, check that the system operates correctly:
    • Turn the ignition ON. The SRS indicator should illuminate for approximately six seconds and then turn off.
    • The warning lamp will illuminate for 4 seconds and then turn off within 3 seconds. After 7 seconds, it should remain off if the ODS does not require deactivation and the passenger airbag is enabled.
