Cruise Control System
In this manual: Driving Your Vehicle
~1min read

The cruise control system allows the vehicle to be programmed to maintain a constant speed without pressing the accelerator pedal.
This system is designed to operate at speeds above approximately 30 km/h.
- If cruise control remains on (cruise control indicator illuminated), cruise control may be engaged accidentally. Keep the cruise control system off when cruise control is not in use to avoid unintended speed.
- Use the cruise control system only on open roads in good weather.
- Do not use cruise control when it is unsafe to maintain a constant speed, such as in heavy or changing traffic, on slippery (wet, icy, or snow-covered) or winding roads, or on grades steeper than 6%.
- Pay special attention to driving conditions when using the cruise control system.
- Be careful when driving downhill with the cruise control system, as it may increase vehicle speed.
✽ NOTICE
- During normal cruise control operation, when the SET switch is activated or reactivated after braking, cruise control engages after approximately 3 seconds. This delay is normal.
- To activate cruise control, press the brake pedal at least once after turning the ignition switch to the ON position or starting the engine.
WARNING: Improper use of cruise control.
Do not use cruise control when road conditions do not allow you to drive safely at a constant speed and with sufficient distance from the vehicle ahead.
