ESC OFF Status

This vehicle has 2 types of ESC OFF conditions.

If the engine stalls while the ESC system is off, the ESC remains off. When the engine is restarted, the ESC will automatically turn on again.

• ESC OFF Status 1

To cancel the ESC operation, briefly press the ESC OFF button (the ESC OFF indicator light illuminates). In this state, the engine control function does not operate. This means the traction control function does not work. Only the brake control function operates.

• ESC OFF Status 2

To cancel the ESC operation, press and hold the ESC OFF button for more than 3 seconds. The ESC OFF indicator light illuminates and a warning chime sounds. In this state, the engine control function and the brake control function do not operate. This means the Electronic Stability Control function no longer operates.
