Low-Profile Tire

~1min read

Low-profile tires, whose aspect ratio is below 50, are provided for a sporty appearance.

Because low-profile tires are optimized for handling and braking, the ride may be less comfortable and there may be more noise compared to conventional tires.

CAUTION

Because the sidewall of a low-profile tire is shorter than normal, the wheel and tire are more easily damaged. Therefore, follow the instructions below.

- When driving on rough roads or off-road, drive carefully because tires and wheels may be damaged. After driving, inspect the tires and wheels.
- When driving over potholes, speed bumps, manholes, or curbs, drive slowly so that the tires and wheels are not damaged.
- If a tire is damaged, we recommend that you have the tires inspected or contact an authorized Kia dealer.
- To prevent tire damage, check the tire condition and inflation pressure every 3,000 km.

CAUTION

  • It is not easy to recognize tire damage with the naked eye. However, if there is even the slightest sign of tire damage, even though you cannot see the damage with your eyes, have the tire inspected or replaced, because tire damage may cause air to leak from the tire.
  • If the tire is damaged while driving on rough roads, off-road, over a pothole, manhole or curb, the damage is not covered by the warranty.
  • You can find tire information on the tire sidewall.
