Inspection

  1. Remove the overhead console lamp assembly, then check the continuity between the terminals. If the continuity does not match the specification, replace the map lamp switch. [Non-sunroof type]

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. If only the bulb needs to be replaced, replace the bulb after opening the overhead console lens (A). [Non-sunroof type]
    [Panoramic roof type]
  3. Loosen the 2 screws securing the map lamp (A).
  4. Disconnect the connectors (A) of the sunroof switch and the lighting switch, then remove the overhead console lamp assembly.

Installation

  1. Install the overhead console lamp after connecting the panoramic roof switch connector and the lamp connector.
  2. Install the lens by tightening the 2 screws.
