Automatic Transmission Control System
Description and Operation
Description
The automatic transmission control system relies on various measurements to determine the current control state and calculate the required compensation values. These values are used to control the actuators and achieve the desired control output.
Operation

*T/CON_VFS: Torque Converter Control Solenoid Valve
*35R/C_VFS: 35R Clutch Control Solenoid Valve
*26/B_VFS: 26 Brake Control Solenoid Valve
*UD/B_VFS: Underdrive Brake Control Solenoid Valve
*OD/C_VFS: Overdrive Clutch Control Solenoid Valve
*LINE_VFS: Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve
*SS-A_ON/OFF: Shift Solenoid Valve-A
Repair Procedures
Adjustment
TCM Adaptive Learning
TCM Adaptive Learning: When a shift shock occurs or a transaxle-related part has been replaced, TCM learning must be performed.
TCM relearn is required in the following cases.
Replacement of Automatic Transmission Assembly
TCM Upgrade or Replacement
Solenoid Valve Replacement
TCM Adaptive Learning Procedure
Static Relearning (Condition: ATF temperature 40–100 °C
Depress the brake pedal, then pause for 3 seconds in the "N" range and the "D" range.
Repeat the above procedure four times.

Driving Learning
Drive the vehicle through all gears (1st → 2nd → 3rd → 4th → 5th → 6th).
Decelerate the vehicle by applying the brake (6th → 5th → 4th → 3rd → 2nd → 1st).
Repeat the above procedure four times.
