Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the airbag lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "Under Cover Panel")

  3. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers.

    (Refer to Body - "Steering Column Shroud Panel")

  4. Remove the electronic steering column lock (A) by loosening the mounting bolts after disconnecting the connector (B).

    Tightening torque: 6.9 - 12.8 N·m

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
