Repair Procedures
Inspection
Measure the resistance of the NTC and the heating pad.
NTC resistance (Black/Gray):
10.0 kΩ ± 3 % [25 °C]
8.875–11.27 kΩ [at 23–27 °C]
Heating element resistance (Black/Yellow): 1.95 ± 0.2 Ω [21–23 °C]
Measure the temperature.
The steering wheel surface temperature should rise from -20 °C (-4 °F) to 20 °C within 6 minutes.
The steering wheel surface temperature should be maintained within 38 ± 4 °C (100.4 ± 39.2 °F) after 25 minutes.
At this time, turn on all measuring points (1 - 8)

Check the circuit continuity between the terminals of each steering wheel heater switch.
